The Cheshire Cat Company is run by Ben and Alex from our home in Christchurch, New Zealand. Many of our traditional games have been lovingly handmade and hand-painted in house, which means not only are they fun to play, but they look fabulous as well. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products and of our service.
The origins of The Cheshire Cat Company stem from trying to hire a coconut shy ourselves for an event in 2016. Nothing was available, anywhere in the South Island. So instead we made our own and started to build other games we nostalgically remember from our childhood. Our range is growing all the time and if we don’t currently offer something you would like, please ask as we are always keen to add to our collection.
Whether your event is a wedding, family celebration, corporate day, community fundraiser, party or function, we love chatting about your plans and will always go above and beyond to make sure you get the most out of your event.
What is the Cheshire Cat?
The Cheshire Cat is most well-known through Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and best remembered for its iconic grin that remains behind long after the rest of it has disappeared. We believe that good old-fashioned fun makes an event that much better and will have you and your guests or colleagues grinning like the Cheshire Cat, both during and long after the event has finished.
